We’re thrilled to announce the successful closure of our ProtaStructure 2024 certification training, marking a pivotal moment for civil engineers across the mainland and Zanzibar. With a dynamic blend of remote and in-person attendees, this one-week training promises to redefine the landscape of building structural engineering in Tanzania.
A New Era for Civil Engineering in Tanzania is Growing.
For nearly 40 years, ProtaStructure has stood at the forefront of engineering technology. This powerful software has become an unbeatable tool for designing, analyzing, fabricating, and detailing complex civil engineering projects. Now, with an official representative office established in Dar es Salaam, Tanzanian engineers have unprecedented access to world-class training, certification, and licensing. This is set to equip local professionals with the skills and confidence needed to excel in a rapidly evolving industry. This comprehensive training was authorized and supported by Prota Software headquarters in Turkey. Over the course of one intensive week, 20 engineers participated in person, while an additional 18 professionals joined remotely from their offices. This hybrid approach ensures that civil engineers from all corners of Tanzania and Zanzibar can benefit from the training, regardless of their location.

This training program was made possible thanks to the blessing from various companies and government institutions across the country, such as NSSF, The judiciary, Zanzibar Buildings Agency, Watumishi Housing Company and TPDF to name a few. As we believe in the skills we delivered as appreciated by the participants, we look forward to witnessing the profound impact it will have on the engineering community.
